PGCIL Field Engineer, Field Supervisor Online Form 2020- Apply for 36 posts
POWERGRID Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has announced vacancies for PGCIL Field engineer and PGCIL Field Supervisor on a contract basis. There are a total of 36 vacancies that have come up and for which candidates will be tussling.
The job role will be of field engineer/ field supervisor at PGCIL and the location is in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The salary of the candidate will range from Rs 23,000 to Rs 1,20,000 per month.
There are 14 posts for electrical field engineers, 6 posts for civil field engineers, 10 posts for electrical field supervisors, and 6 posts for civil field supervisors.
Eligibility for the Process
For the field engineer, the candidate should have a full-time certificate in B.E, B.Sc, B.Tech in electrical, civil, power engineering, and similar other disciplines from a recognized university. The candidate should also have gained a percentage of 55% in the certification. Along with the educational qualification, the candidate should also have an experience of 1 year.
For the position of supervisor, the candidate should be a diploma holder in electrical engineering or civil engineering from a recognized university. Also, the candidate should have an experience of 1 year.
For both the positions, the candidates should not cross the upper age limit of 29 years for the unreserved category.

The selection process for both the positions will be through the CBT test followed by an interview.

Along with the application form, the candidates need to pay the exam fee of Rs 400 for Field engineer and Rs 300 for Field Supervisor. The payment can be done easily through different online modes such as debit card, credit, or through internet banking.
Candidates falling under the category of SC, ST, ExSM, and PwD are provided the relaxation of applying for the exam without paying the exam fee.
The last date for the submission of the form is on 6th March 2020 and post that the department will announce the examination date along with other important details such as the cut-off marks for qualifying in the exam.
