GATE 2020 RESULT

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination conducted by Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and seven other Indian Institute of Technology jointly on the behalf of NCB-GATE, Department of Higher Education, MHRD, Government of India. On 13th of March at 2:30 pm, the Indian Institute of Technology declared the result of GATE on it’s the official website. It Delhi states that this year 18.8% of students have qualified for the GATE exam. Further, they said that only 79.76% of students appeared in the examination in the GATE 2020.

You can check your GATE 2020 result by visit on the official IIT Delhi GATE website.

After visiting on the official website you have to click on the “GATE 2020 result declared” link which is available at the home page. Then enter the required details like enrolment number, name and other details. Then submit this and download the result for further use.

On February 1, 2, 8 and 9 at different exam centers, this exam was conducted by IIT Delhi. Out of 8,58,890 only 685088 students appeared for the exam. On 28th of February IIT Delhi released the provisional answer key and the cut off marks as per the paper. It was a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode exam that was conducted to check the comprehensive understanding of the candidates who are pursuing undergraduate (UG) and post-graduate (PG) courses. The results are valid for three years.

GATE cutoff decided as per the number of applicants, difficulty level of exam, total number of seats available and performance of candidates. The cutoff decided by the conducting institutes with other responsible authorities. The cutoff varies from one paper to another and released otherwise. Candidates got an idea of M.tech admission from the cutoff of GATE 2020. Candidates won’t be able to get admission in M.E/M.tech if they are not qualifying the cutoff of GATE 2020.
